Facilities

nanocolo.com is in business to provide cost-effective, highly-available, super-high-density customer colocation services based on the Apple iPod line of portable consumer electronics devices. As Linux devices, iPods provide the perfect platform for applications requiring relatively large quantities of data and low computational demands.
While iPods all have batteries of varying longevity, guaranteeing freedom from minor power outages, consistent, long-term power supply is of course critical. That is why each of our facilities use clean, natural-gas-burning, turbine generators to provide ample power in the event of a grid power supply failure. Assuming non-catastrophic conditions, any of our facilities can remain functional for up to 48 days without external power.
In the event that power is lost, we can guarantee disaster recovery (DR) of your iPodLinux server across any of our 34 international tier-1 data center colocation facilities and six strategically located United States locations, using proprietary IP-migration technology. The number and placement of your iPod Linux based systems across these facilities is configurable and subject to local laws regarding content and services provided, for which nanocolo.com takes no responsibility.
